Fusing yoga & Feldenkrais principles to bring revolutionary ideas into your yoga practice

 

General public, seasoned yogis, dancers and other movement educators can enhance their practice by applying new ideas, like reversibility and differentiation, to habitual movement patterns. Any practice can be deepened through heightened awareness.

 

For the past years, I have been offering workshops on Atom Yoga, Feldenkrais & Roll Remedy in yoga and dance studios in Greece, Italy & Switzerland.

 

In 2017 I am planning a series of workshops throughout Europe.

Roll Remedy

 

Releasing your back
Duration: 2h

 

Using foam & rubber balls, we will be exploring the longitude and latitude of the back from pelvis to shoulders, looking for hidden tensions & trigger points present in both overworked & under-worked muscles.

 

Guided practice will insure safety and correct technique while allowing you to work at your own pace, exactly where your body needs.



The Tension Triangle
Duration: 2h

 

We carry our fears and anxiety with our shoulders, we sit for hours on end in front of a computer screen.

 

This Roll Remedy workshop is designed to address all the muscles involved in neck and upper back tension.

 

From the top of your cervical spine to the tips of your shoulders, we will release  and lengthen muscles allowing for a wider range of motion in head and arm movement.

Feldenkrais meets Yoga

 

Spinal Articulation
Duration: 3h

 

Enhance your yoga practice by using the core concepts behind the Feldenkrais Method.

 

Discovering the finer spinal movements, between individual vertebrae and bringing awareness to the deeper spinal musculature will allow you to engage in deeper and safer backbends in any asana that requires it.

 

 

 

 

Spherical Breath
Duration: 3h

 

In this workshop you will come into a deeper understanding of the diversity in the patterns of interaction between muscle groups used in breathing.

 

Simple yet powerful exercises will allow you

to expand your awareness in one of the fundamental components of yoga, pranayama.

Special Interest

Mommy's Back
Duration: 3h

 

Built from personal experience, these "take home" exercises will provide busy moms, who don't have time for regular lessons, the tools necessary to restore body functionality in the comfort of their home.

 

Participants will receive a worksheet/manual with all the material presented.

 

 

 

 

Posture Perfect -

The computer user's ultimate toolkit
Duration: 3h

 

This workshop is designed to provide you with the knowledge and specific tools to actively transform your daily desktop routine.

 

You will become more conscious of your posture and learn practical mini-routines to release tension safely and effectively during

or after a busy day.
